In
Indonesia we have only 2 states of marital status: married, unmarried. When
working on the human-resource software integration project (the software
registers personal data of employees including their marital status), I found
out that in the Netherlands it appears that we have more marital status due to
different kinds of living together/half-marriage
(samenwonen, partnerschap) and divorce (gescheiden) contracts:

- Samenwonend(relatieverklaring)
- Gescheiden
- Gescheiden
van tafel en bed
- Kostwinner
- Gehuwd
- Geregistreerd
partnerschap
- Ongehuwd
- Onbekend
- Weduwe/weduwnaar
